How do I add Sequential (ordered) approval steps?

Sequentially approve the document with multiple approval steps by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Click on the plus (+) icon from the current step (1st approval step) to add another step.


Select the Approval option from the box.


Step 2: Click on Add step.

Step 3: Add multiple approval step with members (approvers) as per your need. Click on Approve. The 1st approval step gets active.

Here you may want to add one or two different members for each approval steps.

Once approval step is completed, the step will reflect the message along with the approved status. You can check the message on each completed approval step.


Step 4: Click on Start Approval. Once the first step member (approver) approves the document, second approval step gets active and same process continues till the last approval step.

Note: Auto-completion automatically starts another step when the action required is performed by each and every member on the step else have to start the next step manually.


Step 5: Once the last member of the last approval step approves the document, you can proceed to the next step in the workflow.
