Step 1: Receiving an e-signing invitation. The counter party will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with the following object: "You've been invited to sign a document on Zegal".
Once opened, the counter party will need to click on "View and Sign".
Please note that this email can sometimes be in the spam folder. So please ask the counter party to check there as well.
Step 2: Unlocking the document. Once the counterparty clicks on the link, a new window will open asking for a code.
As a result, a second email will be sent from email@example.com to the counterparty with the subject "Zegal verification code". This email contains a code allowing the counterparty to access the document.
The counterparty will input the code and click on "Next" to unlock the document.
Step 3: After the 'Next' button is clicked, the app takes to the document.
Step 4: The counterparty is to sign and confirm the signature.
Step 5: Once everyone in the document signs, the document can be downloaded in. PDF only. This is to make sure no further changes can be made to the contract.
