How to restore deleted documents?

A document owner or an organization admin can restore deleted documents. If you are a document owner in Zegal or an organization admin and need to recover a deleted document, follow this quick tutorial to guide you through the process.

Steps to Restore a Document:

  1. Go to the "All Documents" Page

    • Log in to your Zegal account and navigate to the All Documents section.

  2. Search for the Document and Click on "Show All Results"

    • Use the search bar to look for the document you wish to restore and click on Show All Results at the bottom.

  3. Include Deleted Documents

    • In the search options, select the checkbox labeled Include Deleted Documents. This ensures that deleted files are visible in the search results.

  4. Select and Restore

    • Identify the deleted document (indicated by red font) and select it.

    • Click on the Bulk Restore button to recover the document.

    • Go back to the All Documents tab and find your restored document at the top.
